  36. I experience this condition connecting to 3 different ISPs. They each have in
  37. excess of 60 modems of  ( in at least one case) mixed types. I am using the
  38. default init string in Win95...anything else I might tell you to  eliminate
  39. other possibilities...?
  40. I called the USR BBS hoping to get a good connection. I connected to them at
  41. 19200 receive and 16400 send...runnig their USRSTATS and asking for a retrain
  42. helped nothing.
